Aiflix: Social Video Platform for Reels, Movies & Creators
A TikTok-style video platform I designed and built, combining short reels with movies and series, creator profiles, a sound library, coins, paid plans and verification ticks, on mobile and web.
Aiflix is a video platform built for creators and viewers in many countries. It combines the endless short-video feed people love with movies and series, and gives creators real ways to grow and earn.
I designed and built the whole product: an Expo mobile app for iOS and Android, a full web version, and an admin dashboard for running the platform, all on a shared Supabase backend with Mux for video streaming.
Reels feed: full-screen vertical videos with likes, comments, saves and shares, plus a "For You" and "Following" feed.
Movies and series: long-form titles live alongside short reels in the same app.
Creators and sounds: public creator profiles, follows, hashtag pages and a reusable sound library, so trends can spread across reels.
Coins and plans: paid plans and coins power premium features and creator earnings, with monthly creator payouts in USD.
Verification ticks: a grey tick for every member, gold ticks for paid plans and blue ticks earned through followers and views, so quality creators can grow on free plans too.
Admin dashboard: a powerful control panel for managing users, content, plans and promotions without touching the backend.
The result is a complete, multi-platform social video product, from the feed algorithm principles to payments and creator monetisation.
